We offer services such as coaching, team building and conflict resolution/mediation with qualified, licensed professionals to help our clients maximize individual, team, and organizational performance.  These services are offered on-site or can be organized off-site depending on the needs of the client. 

Conflict Management/Mediation

Conflict is a fact of life and can be a great opportunity.  However, when not addressed properly it costs an employer thousands of dollars and has a huge impact on morale and productivity.  By some estimates, managers spend up to 20% of their time just trying to manage workplace conflict.  WPS staff members know that each situation is unique.  We use a wide range of strategies to help people improve mutual understanding, communication and learn to disagree in a respectful and appropriate manner based on their needs and the culture of the organization.  A thorough assessment allows us to design and implement the best possible interventions for problem resolution.

Coaching

Sometimes executives, managers, and employees can use some help in getting where they want to go.  We help coaching clients define individual needs, goals, and opportunities for personal growth.  We identify and tap into strengths while considering limitations and support/skills each person needs to outperform themselves.  We listen, ask questions, provide feedback and use an effective combination of challenge, accountability, and support to help each client put their best foot forward.

Team Building

Effective team building provides an opportunity to get everyone on the same page and moving in a similar direction to optimize productivity, morale, mutual understanding and satisfaction.  It allows for interaction among team members to learn how they each think and work and a chance to view their day to day experiences with a new perspective.  Optimally, through a series of conversations and activities, each person is able to re-connect to a sense of being part of something bigger than themselves.

Critical Incident Support Services

A critical incident is an event or situation that causes strong reactions and can result in trauma for some people without the support and resources to help them cope.   Events such as accidents, robberies, deaths, natural disasters, major organizational change and others are considered critical incidents and can negatively impact an individuals and an organization in a wide range of ways.  While we hope that organizations won’t have the need to take advantage of them, Critical Incident Response Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  An initial telephonic crisis management consultation is provided to ascertain the necessary level of response to the situation based on what’s happened, those impacted, and best practices for providing maximum support.
